How it Works

UrAssist's advanced technology gives patients the ability to urinate without having to get out of bed. There are no bedpans, no pads, no slip and fall accidents. It saves your staff time and improves patient sanitation and satisfaction. Its lightweight, portable design is battery-operated and the unit easily attaches to any standard institutional bed.

The automated system is so easy to use. Your patients can follow three basic steps:

1. Open the front door and UrAssist automatically turns on.
   
   
   
   
2. Position the collection cup accordingly (male or female). UrAssist's fluid pump technology gently drains the cup into a collection bag, eliminating odor, leakage and possible spills.
3. Once finished, replace the cup and close the door. The pump will automatically shut off.

Urine is collected and stored in the collection bag. Visual and audible alerts indicate when the collection bag is nearly full. Alerts can be silenced with a push of a button, and the bag can easily be emptied in less than 30 seconds.
